Large sandstone figure of Uma Khmer or Parvati (She is the consort of Shiva). She has been made by Baphuon Style. She might be made in first half 11th century. She has 46¾ in. (118.7 cm.) high.


It was superbly carved in the round with her right hand raised, wearing a sarong elegantly carved with parallel pleats and a fishtail sash, the face finely polished and surmounted by the braided hair and curled topknot, the torso finely polished. The expert has graded it in one of THE IDEAL IMAGE EIGHT MASTERPIECES OF INDIAN AND SOUTHEAST ASIAN ART [Christie's].


She had been stolen by collector from Cambodia to UK in 1968.
The expert of Christie's (Auction House) have estimated: 1 Million to 1.5 Million USD. She had been auctioned 2,113,000 USD at realised price in March 21, 2008. This statue is the most expensive Cambodian statue so far.
Today we don't know where it's at.
